The man who has been behind many of your favorite Columbus eateries is launching one of his own!Justin Wotring, a longtime chef formerly with A&R Creative (The Crest, Mercury Diner), has launched Caroline’s Sandwiches, a new gourmet sandwich concept that will incorporate French culinary techniques.Don’t let the idea of fine French dining scare you away, as Wotring noted Caroline’s will offer “on the go” sandwiches that still prioritize approachability, with options like their cold cut, meatball, braised pork with ramp Black Cap hot sauce and even an option assorted mushrooms with mozzarella, to name just a few.The sandwich shop, which was named as an homage to Wotring’s late niece, will operate as a pop-up within Bears Bagels on the following dates:June 5, June 19,July 17, July 31, Aug. 14, Aug. 28.
