On Tuesday, March 31, the Tuesday before Easter, Hilliard Food Pantry is hosting a one-day social media Match Campaign to ensure eggs remain stocked and accessible for every family we serve.
Last year, HFP+ spent over $48,000 on eggs. Eggs are one of the most requested staples we provide, and more than 4,000 families walk through our doors each year. Our goal is raise $20,000 on this day. From sunrise to midnight, we will feature one Match Partner at a time who has pledged $500 or more toward the campaign. As each partner is highlighted, our community will have the opportunity to match that gift dollar for dollar, doubling the impact in real
time. Community donations will be applied directly to the active match until it is fully met. Once the goal is reached, we will post a thank you and introduce the next Match Partner.
This will continue throughout the day, so every gift made while a match is active will be doubled.
For every $50 donated, we can provide 40 dozen eggs.
