Focusing on Signifiers & Stalker Cards
In this level 2 Tarot class taught my Sam of Find Me in the Stars, we’ll look at two different themes within Tarot that can come up as you enter into a daily practice with your deck.
First, we’ll look at the concept of a Signifier or Significator card. These are cards that represent the reader or querent, and while some people find they gravitate to the same card their whole lives, there’s flexibility with Signifier cards that can change them with each season of our lives.
As we approach these types of cards, we’ll explore: a) how to find your Signifier, b) how to embrace flexibility around this theme, and c) the types of ritual magic that are connected with finding your Signifier.
Second, we’ll look at the concept of Stalker Cards that keep coming up reading to reading, seemingly haunting specific times of our lives!
Within this theme, we’ll explore: a) how to recognize a Stalker Card, b) how to unpack its meaning, and c) different ritualistic ways to work with these cards so that the lesson is integrated and new cards can come through.
