“Trains, Planes & Automobiles”

10am-4pm Weaver Park and Franklin County Fairgrounds

This event will highlight the Ohio America250 “Ohio Moves: Transportation” theme and how it shaped America and Hilliard.

• 🚂 Trains – highlight the Hilliard Train Station, and caboose.  Will have an interactive model train display in Museum.
  
  • demonstrations of train communication including flag and light signals, morse code, etc.
• ✈️ Planes – updating military exhibit and highlighting aviation, including models of military planes
  
  • drone and/or model airplane flying exhibitions
• 🚙 Automobiles – Old Hilliard Fire Truck on display.  Maybe bucket brigade activity.
  
  • HOHS Model A and Model T cars on display
  • Model A car club invited to showcase their cars
  • vintage police car club getting invited to showcase cars similar to what HPD would have used
  • new fueling station exhibit in Museum
