About the Artist: Kathleen Grannan
A lifelong creative, Kathleen Grannan has explored a wide range of artistic media, finding her truest expression in watercolor. A retired nurse with more than 45 years of service, she credits her profession for opening her head and heart to new perspectives—an outlook that continues to shape her art.
Kathleen has studied watercolor for over three decades under the guidance of respected Ohio artists, including time at Lakeside Chautauqua. She paints both in studio and plein air with the Central Ohio Plein Air group, “The Group” in Port Clinton, and is active in the Central Ohio Watercolor Society and Clintonville Arts Guild, where she serves on the board. A founding and past president of the John Behling Watercolor Society, her award-winning works have been exhibited throughout Columbus, Lakeside, and Port Clinton.
For Kathleen, watercolor is a reflection of life—vibrant, beautiful, and delightfully unpredictable. She is passionate about keeping art accessible, striving to make her work affordable so more people can experience the joy of owning an original piece that speaks to them.
