Deity Work in Witchcraft can be a mysterious topic, with many varying opinions. Simple information on how to get started, identifying tricksters, and what is "required" for an altar can differ between practitioners and can be hard to determine what is needed.
Enter Deity Work 101. An introductory course to deity work based on personal experiences as a witch.
We will discuss what deity work is and why you should consider working with gods/goddess/spirits in your practice, identifying trickster spirits that may try to present themselves as a deity to you, and how to set up an altar if you choose to do so.
*Note, this is an introduction class which is intended for beginners or those looking for entry level information. Practitioners who are more advanced in their deity work are welcome to join for a refresher and/or to provide their experiences.
