Tammy Becker is an acrylic painter based in Hilliard, Ohio. Primarily self-taught, she took many art classes when she was younger, which provided a foundation for the skills she continues to develop today. After working with children in a preschool and elementary setting for many years, she has taken the leap to pursue her passion as an artist. Her work is deeply inspired by nature and the sense of peace, balance and joy she gains from being out in the natural world. Inspired by the beauty that can be found in the details, the things we notice when we slow down and look a little closer. Tammy embraces exploration and the possibilities of where creativity can lead. Her hope is to create artwork that brings a sense of joy, peace, and inspires others to pause, look closer, and notice the beauty that surrounds them.
