Destination Hilliard is dedicated to strengthening economic vibrancy across the City of Hilliard through the development and promotion of special events, attractions, culture, history, recreation, parks, dining, retail, meeting and event space, and overnight accommodations.
To further these goals, Destination Hilliard is providing funding to support new community events, attractions, and initiatives — as well as to enhance returning events in 2026.
This program is designed to encourage tourism, promote overnight stays within Hilliard city limits, and expand awareness of Hilliard as a visitor destination while inspiring residents to enjoy the amenities our tourism industry offers.
The Destination Hilliard Board will review applications and allocate funding up to four times through June 2026, or until all funds are distributed. Individual sponsorships may not exceed 50% of an event’s total cost and will be evaluated based on established program criteria found within application.
Application Deadlines:
- November 1, 2025 — notification by December 1, 2026
- February 1, 2026 — notification by March 1, 2026
- April 1, 2026 — notification by May 1, 2026
- June 1, 2026 — notification by July 1, 2026
